In the last few weeks we have been experimenting on what Aedan is actually allergic to. His list at the beginning of the year was: No Beef, No Pork, No Dairy (baked or raw, included Cheese, Sour Cream, Yogurt, cake), No Shellfish, No Soy, limited tomatoes and strawberries (the acid seems to upset his tummy and he gets the runs). While he still wont eat a lot of beef or pork he can have them and has not had a crazy reaction like we had seen originally, he is eating baked dairy items (cake, brownies) and we give him Kraft Mac and Cheese and have not seen any big reactions there either (YEAH!). As of today we are introducing 1% milk. (We are under a Dr who is watching this process who we talk to weekly about how much to add). Today he got 1/2 cup of 1% Milk and 1/2 cup of Almond Milk. He seems to like it and we wont be introducing any more dairy today, but my grocery bill will appreciate the change:):). He has eczema which leaves us wondering what is up with his face but Eucerin is keeping that under control nicely.
We are all feeling the effects of the wind (ie: dust blowing around) here in Rawlins. I have never fought allergies but I am taking Claritin (Generic) daily to help combat it and the boys are all getting claritin or zyrtec daily as well. Travis is also having to use his inhaler at nights, so glad I kept them around:). Can't wait to see what summer brings for allergies because I may have to buy stock in allergy medications:):)
