Hayden is awake, smiling and talking. Hallelujah! And she is looking more like "herself". This is how today will end. Being thankful for the small things; 1) Hayden awake and smiling; 2) Mac (family friend's 11yo golden retriever) out of pain, playing with Jaz (Same family friend's 4yo golden retriever). I choose to think there is an animal crazy blond-haired boy frolicking with them.
Tears of joy mingling with tears of sadness.
